Support expiration
What happens when the support expires?
When the software support expires, the following operating conditions will apply:
- it will no longer be possible to use the fast mode;
- it will no longer be possible to use the CronoDisk extension;
- it will no longer be possible to activate more than one disk at a time;
- however, it will always be possible to mount the disk in non fast standard mode (USB storage with a maximum speed of 4 MBytes/sec);
- any version of the xCoreDisk application released after the media expiration date will not work;
- the device firmware cannot be updated with a version released after the expiration date of the support.
